- The school is a member of the Grimsby, Cleethorpes and District Schools' Sports Council and enters teams in the inter-schools' leagues. Football, Cricket, Tennis, Hockey, Rugby and Athletics are catered for.
- Opportunities exist for students to experience a wide range of activities and interests including Drama, Music, General Knowledge quiz teams, Chess and Draughts Club, Computer Club, theatre visits, educational trips abroad, geographical and fieldwork visits.
- Responsibility to the community is encouraged through work for charities and social activities as well as Diocesan and Parish-sponsored functions.
- A period of residential experience is offered in Year 10 at the Diocesan Residential Training Centre in Derbyshire. Outside speakers are invited to address the students on topics of interest.
- The Library, form-rooms, gymnasium, School Hall and stage are facilities available to students and every encouragement is given for them to organise activities on their own initiative.
- Students with musical talent join the Grimsby, Cleethorpes and District Youth orchestra and students participate in the local Festivals of Music and Drama
